The town was buzzing with anticipation as 10am approached. Musicians were already playing and The Town Crier was making sure that she could be heard.

As Niki and myself walked around, queues were already forming at the stalls. Later on I counted thirty four people at one stall and several others had more than a dozen.

One of the pleasures for me is chatting with locals to gauge feelings and also to visitors to welcome them to our special town. All were very happy today.

Thanks for all their efforts in making the event such a success must go to David Routledge, Carl Tate and all the other volunteers.
